Before his role at joining his current firm, Finkel, Martwick & Colson, PC (FMC), Mr. Brin served as the Chief of Staff of the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission. Additionally, he was elected as the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court, serving from 2012 to 2016.
Keith’s academic journey began at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he earned both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master’s degree in Public Health, specializing in Health Policy and Management, graduating with the highest honors. He later returned to Chicago to earn his JD from Loyola University School of Law, where he received multiple academic awards. Keith’s legal career includes advising commercial and entrepreneurial ventures of all sizes on corporate, litigation, and taxation matters while practicing law with firms in Chicago for many years.
Currently, Keith Brin serves as the Chairman of the Lake County Republican Party, adding another layer of leadership and public service to his distinguished career.
