Meet my grandmother. In 1962, she ran a dog grooming shop on Chicago’s west side—the same year I was born.

My mother, just 19 and going through a divorce, and my siblings were supported by my grandmother. Despite the challenges,

I had a happy childhood, thanks to her and her shop. Years later, my mother took over, and I learned that businesses are lifelines, not just livelihoods.

Today, as a tax attorney, I help business owners protect their dreams and legacies. Fighting back against the IRS is personal to me.
